I cringe at the fact that this film went to the Cannes. Why? One word it's... BULLSHIT! There were so many things wrong with it. First of all SRK was a budding footballer whose career is ruined by a car accident. This damages his leg in this case nothing more than a limp. His wife becomes the main bread winner which he despises. HELLO? So what if he has a limp this doesn't mean the guy can't work he's still very much able bodied. Secondly, SRK's son was born in America but funnily enough didn't actually have an American accent. What a JOKE! Thirdly, the thing no one understood was why would Rani not be satisfied with a great husband like Abhishek?

Well it seems that actor Abhishek was bewildered by this too. As in an recent interview Abhishek actually said he put forward this question to the director (Karan Johar) who told him he wanted to show that even though things may looked perfect the couple didn't have no connection. Well if the actor had to be told this and did not get it and the audience did not get it, this just shows how badly it was written. And what was with all this business with Amitabh Bachan and call girls! Even though they tried to give this a comical twist it was still very crude! Everything was larger than life and over the top and it had that clique ending how boring. I wouldn’t even rent this out on dvd.
